Happy New Year!!

New year, same old Maddocks

Just a quick message to you all to give you the latest Maddocks gossip as we enter the new year!! Let’s start with the most recent bits…

We were in London at the start of January for Tim Burgess’ Merch Market and it was brill! To all of you reading now who signed up to our mailing list that day, thanks and welcome!! We appreciate the support and hope you’ll stick around.

We were interviewed at the market by BBC Radio 6 Music. We had nice chinwag about the importance of merch and promoting yourself as an independent artist. If you missed it, you can have a listen here!

Before Christmas, we rounded off our year with our annual party at The Navigation. It was a great night as always and we are already looking forward to the next one!!

And, of course, back in November we headlined SOUP and got behind the decks at Night & Day for a boogie afterwards! Thanks to everyone who had a party with us into the early hours.

KENDAL IS CALLING!!!

Proper buzzing that we will be returning to Kendal Calling this year. We loved it last time we played, and hope to see some of you there. We’re not sure yet if we will be bringing a life-size cut out of Mr Bean, but we’ll keep you all posted.

We’ll be at the Tim Peaks Stage, dates/times will be announced nearer the time.

It’s all been happening at Maddocks HQ this month. We’ve recently totally redecorated our studio, so it’s all set for us to get writing and recording, should we have the inclination…
